Me & Counselling
I qualified as a counsellor psychotherapist in 2001 and worked for a number of years with addiction, abuse, relationship issues, PTSD, suicidal and self harm issues. In time I realised that I was only able to help my clients to the degree of my own resolved issues. I felt I was holding my clients healing back and decided to take a step away. I then took a number of years out to persue my own restorative journey and feel I have the skills, scope and ability to see my clients through their self discovery and restoration processes.

How and Counselling Help?
Counselling can help you to gain clarity and insight into yourself and the world around you. It can help you to understand your core values and beliefs, enabling you to make more informed decisions about what is important, relevant and wanted in your life. Counselling can help you to gain a better understanding of yourself, allowing you to make positive changes in order to live the life you want. It can provide you with the tools to help you cope with difficult emotions and to gain a greater sense of clarity of thought, direction and purpose in life. Counselling can also provide you with a safe and supportive space to explore any issues or concerns you may have in a non-judgemental and confidential environment.
